Joseph Hatch is the art director for Tilbury House Publishers, sister imprint of Sleeping Bear Press in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Joe is a designer, illustrator, painter, and master naturalist. When not designing logos or children’s books, he can be found gardening, beekeeping, growing edible mushrooms, advocating for—and planting—native plants, and building or refurbishing stringed musical instruments.

He holds an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Madison College in Madison, Wisconsin and a Diploma Certificate in Web Page Design.

Joe lives in Ann Arbor with his wife and kids, some dogs, a cat, and a dozen chickens.
