DFCU Financial's unique approach to compounding the whole member relationship in order to deliver a larger cash back payday needed a unique approach.

So we took a shot at how they were directly stacked up against the competition with the Cash Back Ticker campaign. Counting up to each member's potential cash back was flexible for OOH, sizmek HTML5 banners, and broadcast/pre-roll/connected TV.

Direct mail to different audiences could highlight different products and the cash back related to each. From mortgages to business or auto loans.

HTML5 DIGITAL BANNERS

Designed and art directed the animation of HTML5 digital banners that would increase over time. This number would be consistent on all ads, using simple math that divided the anticipated total Cash Back amount by year's end by the number of milliseconds in a calendar year, using the browser's internal clock.

This was so successful that we needed only to update the amount and the year end date to refresh all placed ads and running campaigns, keeping redesign and media costs low for the client.
